The Great Smoky Mountains lies between the borders of North Carolina and Tennessee. Its one of the largest protected areas in the Eastern United States. The Smokies today are a hiker's paradise with over 800 miles of trails. We first reached the beautiful town called Gatlinburg at the foot of the Smoky mountains which itself is a main tourist attraction. The aquarium photos seen here are from the Ripley's aquarium in Gatlinburg. It was a wonderful experience with people having to go through a glass tunnel with fishes all around you.. We also managed to go on a hiking trail much to my dismay as well as Manish's. The first four photos were taken on that trail. According to us the whole 3 something mile walk wasn't justifiable just to see the stupid round structure in the 4th photo. But no one else was listening to our complaints
